siesta time!

Summer afternoons are made for snoozing!

Sage-I made it!

Look at me on the bed. Mom doesn't normally let me up here, but I helped her take the sheet off the bed for the wash, so I get some time on the bed! I love to help with laundry, unfortunately without direction, I may take it outside-see, I air it out for you!

Spunky Sage-let

As I work on Sage's blog, she is running on her indoor track with her foster brother and sister. While my gsp is quiet in the house, Sage is zipping all over trying to get everyone to play-making a big circle thru the house! This little dog loves the toy box, she empties it out daily. Her furever home will have alot of fun replenishing her stock of nylabones, stuffed animals, and kongs! But like most young girls, does not pick her toys up when she is done playing. I guarantee that she will be, paws down, a hit at puppy school! Sage is adorable and smart, but with plenty of attitude.

Sage vs. poodle

Sage has no idea she is a little dog. She is having a terrific time playing tug with Cole the poodle.

Sage speaks!

Sage here! I am loving my foster family that is for sure. That is because there is alot of action and I love action. I am a wrestling fool with my gsp sister. My BIG poodle brother barks at us from the sidelines, but it doesn't scare me. Actually nothing scares me. I am like a little locomotive, mom says. So, if you are looking at me as your furever doggie, know that I want to play and have fun. I play with every toy in the toy box and if my foster sis or brother have one, I might try to take their toy, too! I am housetrained of course, and I don't chew on stuff around the house, like furniture or anything. Mom takes me to her office and I go right up to strangers for pets and love. I don't bark at them or anything-just bat my big dark brown eyes. I adore kids and lap up any attention given to me. So, a big family would suit me just fine. I have been walking on leash with my brother and sisters and I did really well, mom says. I definately need to go to puppy school, cause mom says all doggies benefit from it. But I am on my way, since I sit for treats and know lots of words like: 'go potty", and "sit", and "no." I do love being here and meeting dogs and kids and people, but I am ready for a place to call my own. With a bed and bowl just for me. And a family that calls me their own.

Curious Sage.

The minute Sage had a chance, she was nose, ears, and eyes all over the house. Checking everything out. I am not sure whether she approves of my decorating or not.

more fun Sage stuff!

Well, we just got Sage, but we are having a ball with her. She met a whole carload of nieces and nephews. She jumped in the car and thought she was heading to the party with us! They screamed and giggled, and her tail just kept going. She has the brightest most alert brown eyes-they seem to be dancing. Sage is one confident pup who revels in the action of a multi dog home. Her first meal with us, she just dug in, no hesitation! Cute, Cute, Cute dog.

BIG gsp, little gsp

Little Sage meet big Ceres. And big Ceres is only 40 pounds. Sage is one little dog. But big on personality! She saw my neighbor on the other side of the fence, and with tail wagging off she went for some between the chainlink pets. What a little ham.

meeting the foster family

Sage's tail was going a mile a minute when we introduced her to her foster brother and sisters. She wasn't one bit shy about touching noses and following them all over. Quite an accomplishment since she is the "little" one, younger (only 6 months or so) and smaller (only 20 pounds or so).

Sage -what a cutie pie!

This little girl is one spunky pup. She has us smiling, and we only just got her. Here she is checking out the yard.
